Freestanding Pergola Bracket Kit with Shade Canopies

Create a spacious shaded outdoor retreat with the Freestanding Pergola Bracket Kit with Shade Canopies. Designed for a nine-post, four-block pergola up to 24 ft. × 24 ft., this system combines steel pergola brackets with four HDPE shade canopies to create a substantial covered area for outdoor living and entertaining.

Choose between bracket configurations designed for 4×4 or 6×6 lumber and select from multiple canopy sizes to suit your planned structure. The kit supplies the specialized brackets, four shade canopies, canopy mounting hardware, and wood screws, while allowing you to purchase the structural lumber locally.

Key Features

• Large four-block configuration: Designed for a nine-post freestanding pergola measuring up to 24 ft. × 24 ft.
• Four shade canopies included: Creates multiple shaded sections across the pergola rather than relying on an open-roof configuration.
• Multiple canopy sizes: Choose from 8×8, 8×10, 8×12, 10×10, 10×12, or 12×12 canopy sizes.
• Two bracket configurations: Available for structures using either 4×4 or 6×6 lumber.
• HDPE knitted canopy fabric: Each canopy is constructed from 180 GSM high-density polyethylene knitted fabric.
• Semi-permeable canopy design: Allows water to pass through the fabric to help reduce rainwater pooling on top.
• Secure canopy mounting: Four straps on each side help keep the canopy tensioned, with mounting brackets and screws included for attachment.
• Heavy-gauge steel brackets: 12-gauge steel for 6×6 brackets and 14-gauge steel for other bracket sizes.
• Precision-fabricated brackets: Brackets are laser-cut and laser-welded with pre-drilled mounting holes.
• Warranty coverage: Pergola brackets include a 5-year warranty, while the shade canopies include a 1-year warranty.

Why This Product Stands Out

This kit goes beyond a traditional open-roof pergola bracket system by combining the structural hardware with four dedicated shade canopies. The result is a customizable pergola that provides a more defined shaded outdoor area while still allowing you to select and purchase your preferred lumber locally.

Its nine-post, four-block configuration supports structures up to 24 ft. × 24 ft., making it considerably larger than the two-block Zen Pergolas kits and particularly useful for expansive outdoor living spaces.

Multiple canopy sizes and the choice between 4×4 and 6×6 bracket configurations also provide flexibility when planning the dimensions and proportions of the finished pergola.
